Oncology is the study of malignant neoplastic diseases, also known as "cancer". It is a branch of multidisciplinary medicine that involves various specialists for proper treatment:
Surgeons: Surgeon oncologist, Gyneco - oncologist, Uro - oncologist.
Radiation - oncologists: Physicians specializing in the administration of ionizing radiation therapy.
Medical Oncologists: Physicians specialized in the administration of systemic (chemotherapy) and biological therapies.
Cervical cancer
It is a malignant tumor that affects Mexican women too much. This occurs when the cells of the cervix become infected by the human papillomavirus and promotes the uncontrolled growth of the cells of that anatomical system.
